Hydraulic & Pneumatic Flow and Pressure Measurement Systems

Accurate flow and pressure measurement systems engineered for reliable hydraulic and pneumatic testing.

Hydraulic & Pneumatic Flow and Pressure Measurement Systems

Curtis Assemble & Test Ltd design and manufacture bespoke flow and pressure measurement systems for hydraulic and pneumatic applications. Our test machines are used to verify valve performance, flow rates, differential pressure, and Kv values across a wide range of industrial testing environments.

With stainless steel construction, integrated drip trays, and interlocked guarding, CAT systems are designed to support cleanliness, durability, and safe operation in demanding production environments. Stainless steel pipework is incorporated where appropriate to suit the application. Whether supporting product development, validation, or production testing, CAT systems provide reliable performance for demanding applications.

Flexible System Design & Test Capability

Our flow and pressure test systems incorporate a range of self-priming and variable-speed pumps, providing flexibility across different pipe sizes, test pressures, and expected flow ranges. Intelligent control systems allow smooth switching between pumps during testing, ensuring stable conditions and repeatable measurement results.

Each system can be configured to support both low-flow and high-flow testing scenarios, making them suitable for a wide variety of hydraulic and pneumatic components. This flexibility allows manufacturers to test multiple product variants using a single, adaptable test platform.

Manual & Automated Testing Modes

CAT systems are designed to operate in both manual and automated modes, depending on testing requirements and operator preference. Manual operation provides direct control via an integrated control panel, allowing pump speed adjustment, flow meter selection, and fine tuning using balancing valves.

For automated testing, PC-based control enables repeatable test routines with live monitoring of flow, inlet pressure, outlet pressure, and differential pressure. Automated programs can servo to defined flow or pressure conditions, ensuring consistent results and reducing operator dependency across repeated test cycles.

Operational Features at a Glance
